AbstractFThe 1st Cooperative Chemicals Assessment Meeting was held in Paris France on 10th-12nd October 2011. The initial assessment documents of 25 substances (SIDS Initial Assessment: 20 substances; Initial Targeted Assessment: 5 substances) were discussed and the conclusions of initial risk assessment for all substances were approved at the meeting. Japan submitted the SIDS initial assessment documents for two substances 13-propanediol 2-(hydroxymethyl)-2- methyl- (CASF77-85-0) and thiophene (CASF110-02-1) and the initial targeted assessment documents for two substances octadecanamide NN'-12-ethane- diylbis- (CASF110-30-5) and sodium m-nitrobenzenesulfonate (CASF127-68-4) prepared by the Japanese Government. Japan also submitted the SIDS initial assessment documents for category chemicals [C8-C12 Aliphatic Thiols (CASF112-55-0 111-88-6 25103-58-6 and 25360-10-5)] with US/ICCA.
