- Information Mutual-utilization and Dissemination System for Integrated Chemicals Management under TSCA -

Abstract: In order to clarify items and contents to be included in an information mutual-utilization and dissemination system for Integrated chemicals management we here examine the practices of the kind of information system that U. S. EPA is operating under TSCA. We find out two main features of that system in a similar way under REACH Regulation in EU namely 1) the data and information submitted to the authority by individual manufactures or users are core information to be opened to the public and 2) these systems are provided with protective measures for confidential business information (CBI) and suggest that these kind of Japanese information system is necessary for the confirmation of satisfying the globally common targets until 2020 established at WSSD in 2002.
