Study on Strategies for Capacity Building of Integrated Chemicals Management (14) - Information Mutual-utilization and Dissemination System for Integrated Chemicals Management under REACH Regulation -

Abstract: In order to clarify items and contents to be included in an information mutual-utilization and dissemination system for Integrated chemicals management we here examine the practices of the kind of information system that European Commission’s competent authorities are operating related to the integrated chemicals management and REACH regulation. We find out two main features of that system namely 1) the data and information submitted to the authority by individual manufactures or users are core information to be opened to the public and 2) paperless procedures called REACH-IT are employed uniquely for the inspection and transfer of documents and others including the preparation of documents by companies between submitters and ECHA or it and EU member state authorities.
