Abstract: The 29th Screening Information Data Set (SIDS) Initial Assessment Meeting (SIAM 29) was held in The Hague the Netherlands. The initial assessment documents of two substances 4-methoxybenzaldehyde (CAS number: 123-11-5) and 4-(1-methylethenyl)phenol (CAS number: 4286-23-1) were submitted by the Japanese Government. These SIDS Initial Assessment Profiles (SIAPs) of the substances were agreed at the meeting. In this report the documents of these substances are introduced.
