Abstract: The 16th Screening Information Data Set (SIDS) Initial Assessment Meeting (SIAM 16) was held at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) headquarters in Paris France. The initial assessment documents of nine substances at SIAM 16 (CAS numbers: 79-00-5 88-44-8 93-68-5 95-31-8 98-54-4 99-04-7 150-90-3 2439-35-2 4016-24-4) were submitted by the Japanese Government with or without the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and all of them were agreed at the meeting. In this report the documents of these nine substances are introduced.
