It has been recognized recently that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an important factor for the sustainable development of companies in this century. The chemical management is one of the indispensable elements of CSR and a main issue in the international activities concerning environment and development. The active progress of OECD EHS programs e.g. (Q)SARs ESDs and MANs was confirmed. The movement regarding REACH especially the issue of registration and chemical substances in articles of EU Parliament related countries and organizations were described. The information about the impact of REACH on companies was also reported. The recent situation of CSR which relates to the integrated chemical management in EU was investigated and potential problems were discussed.
